The expanded 2025 MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Replacement Rates Report covers the expanded 13 product categories and 181 aftermarket parts that we did last year, more than double the number of parts of earlier reports. With this expansion, you will now see replacement rates for select parts that drive ADAS and EVs.

A broad compendium of data important to the automotive aftermarket sector, the MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Status Report includes data and statistics about the automotive aftermarket yesterday, today, and tomorrow. This includes sales forecasts, vehicle demographics and much more in three separate volumes.

Volume One is now available and will provide the latest data related to:
• The current size of Aftermarket and projections for the next three years (the Joint Channel Forecast, prepared by S&P Global)
• An alternative sizing of the aftermarket, based on the average annual cost of maintenance
• Select product category sizes, based on replacement rates data
• The amount of underperformed and unperformed Maintenance
• A breakdown of the characteristics of the DIY population

MEMA’s goal for the Status Report is to provide a valuable business tool for our members. The report is presented in three volumes of Excel workbooks containing data in tables and graphs. This format makes it easy to copy tables and graphs directly from Excel and paste them into your own documents, and to work with the raw data directly in this workbook.

Here is information about volumes two and three:

Volume Two will be available in July and provides the latest estimates of:

• Vehicle usage and maintenance frequency
• The number of vehicles on the road
• The number of miles traveled
• New and used vehicle sales
• A comparison of sales through retail, dealers, and the distributer/service channels

Volume Three will be available in August and will cover the Canadian aftermarket.
